The afflictions bind all these beings without exception.

You, in order to release them from the afflictions, are eternally bound by compassion.

Should I first make obeisance to you,

or to the great compassion that causes you to dwell for so long in cyclic existence despite knowing its faults?

Hi Ani-la
I came to your blog from Ani Damchoe Wongmos, browsed a little, liked how you write, and felt sure you must be Australian. hmmm...is it the humour?
(assuming I am correct).
Anyway, I am from Sydney, ordained 8 years, living in the Arizona wilderness and looking after rescue dogs. Not the spiritual path i envisioned, but a blessing without measure. Will drop by again, hopefully with time to read!
Thank you!

Hi Ani, from yet another Ani!
I happened upon your blog tonight in Omaha, Nebraska, USA and am very happy to read your writings! Wonderful...you're living my Other Life if I had it, as I envision it, even though I'm here in the United States. Wish I was there! But you give us the details and I love that. Only ordained since August of 2008, but a Buddhist since '75, when I met Lama Yeshe in Indiana. You've inspired me to maybe blog a little myself...you make it look easy. Take care of yourself and others and keep it up! Thanks again.....
Big Love to you,
Tendron
